A cruise down the Thames is a great and relaxing way to discover many of London's key sights including Big Ben, London Bridge and Canary Wharf. With a hop-on-hop-off ticket you can get off at various stops along the river to explore the surrounding sights and attractions.
The most iconic and well known crossing of the Thames is the London Tower Bridge Visitors can go inside the bridge and learn about its fascinating history. However, the highlight is the spectacular views of central London waiting at the top.
Another popular attraction that's situated just a stones throw from the river is the Tower of London. Home to the Crown Jewels and the legendary Beefeaters this historic castle is popular with many visitors to London.
Floating on the river just up from Tower Bridge is the impressive WWII battleship, HMS Belfast. This is the only surviving example of a big gun armoured ship built for the Royal Navy before WWII.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is a reconstruction of the famous original open-air playhouse, first built in 1599. Guided tours highlight the history of the original building and detail the struggles of Sam Wannamaker in recreating the Theatre.
