World famous ZSL London Zoo is the obvious place to start. 12,000 animals and fantastic attractions including 'Into Africa' where you will come face to face with some of that continent's most unusual animals, 'Meet the Monkeys' and Butterfly Paradise. Two major new attractions, Gorilla Kingdom and Clore Rainforest Lookout opened at ZSL London Zoo in 2007 and are proving incredibly popular - both get you closer than ever to primates of Africa and South America respectively.

If you're heading to London Zoo remember that there's no need to pay for London Zoo tickets - you get free entry and fast track admission with your London Pass!

By the Thames in West London is the location of the London Wetland Centre, opened in 2000 where wildfowl and other wetland wildlife enjoy a tranquil haven. This is another unusual attraction for London - and of course, free with your London Pass.

For those who enjoy their flora as much as fauna, Kew Gardens - the Royal Botanical Gardens - are nothing less than spectacular. Kew grows more species than any other garden in the world and is a true breath of fresh air from the busy city life of London. Take the Kew Explorer, a train which tours all the key sites in around 40 minutes.
