The Renoir Cinema, like its well-known namesake, brings art to the masses through its notable line up of art-house and foreign films.
The centre point of the bustling, newly renovated Brunswick Centre in leafy Bloomsbury, the Renoir Cinema offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of busy central London.
Located close to the University of London and several medical institutions, the Renoir Cinema was the first British undertaking of an American organization wanting to benefit from the large number of college students, doctors and nurses walking nearby. It opened as the Bloomsbury Cinema in 1972 and has serviced movie fans off and on since then.
Today the Renoir Cinema has two screens, both with a capacity of over two hundred seats, and a fully licensed bar, making it a perfect retreat in the heart of central London.
The Renoir Cinema plays regular host to festivals, Sunday screenings and director Q&As, not forgetting the London Socialist Film Cooperative's screenings on the second Sunday of each month.
With your London Pass you are entitled to see a movie at the Renoir Cinema without further payment!
Please Note: The London Pass offers you entry without further payment to all performances Monday - Thursday (except bank holidays) anytime, and Friday-Sunday (plus bank holidays) for all performances starting before 17.00.
