The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions from the Royal collection – an astonishing and wide-ranging collection of paintings, sculpture and other works of art as well as a glittering array of priceless treasure held in trust for the Nation by Her Majesty The Queen. This is a popular site for London visitors who love art and a Free Entry site for London Pass holders.
Originally created over 40 years ago on the west front of Buckingham Palace, The Queen’s Gallery London was built out of the bomb-damaged ruins of a former private chapel and recently redeveloped.
31 October - 2 February 2015 Cairo to Constantinople: Early Photographs of the Middle East documents the Prince of Wales' (later King Edward VII) four-month tour of the Middle East through the work of photographer Francis Bedford (1815-94).
Over 60 paintings will be on display to the public as well as drawings, clothing and garments, jewellery and armnour from the time.
Due to the popularity the gallery we advise you visit in the afternoons when it is less bus. Note: Pass holders must obtain a gallery ticket from the ticket desk.
There are many places worth visiting in a short walking distance from Queens Gallery; for example: The Royal Mews, The Guards Museum and The Churchill War Rooms. With The London Pass you have a chance to visit all these places for free.
Entry to The Queen's Gallery is subject to availability and there is exceptionally high demand for tickets during the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace between 25 July and 27 September 2015.

"I would absolutely recommend buying the London Pass if you have 3 or more days to spend exploring London. Buy it ahead of time, online and research what is available and decide what attractions you might be interested in. A top 10 sort of thing, and then any others that might be of interest. It gives you the freedom to visit many popular sites without the hassle of standing in long lines for tickets. I also liked that I wasn't spending all kinds of money every day on attractions and money did not enter into my decisions on what I wanted to do since my admissions where already paid for. I very much enjoyed my visit in London and I think having the London Pass allowed me to see more than I would have, had I not had it. Thank you!!"
