The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions from the Royal collection – an astonishing and wide-ranging collection of paintings, sculpture and other works of art as well as a glittering array of priceless treasure held in trust for the Nation by Her Majesty The Queen. This is a popular site for London visitors who love art and a Free Entry site for London Pass holders.
Originally created over 40 years ago on the west front of Buckingham Palace, The Queen’s Gallery London was built out of the bomb-damaged ruins of a former private chapel and recently redeveloped.
Masters of the Everyday: Dutch Artists in the Age of Vermeer
Friday, 13 November 2015 to Sunday, 14 February 2016
Presenting 27 masterpieces from the Royal Collection, the exhibition includes works by Gerrit Dou, Gabriel Metsu, Jan Steen and Pieter de Hooch, and Johannes Vermeer's A Lady at the Virginal with a Gentleman, 'The Music Lesson'.
Over 60 paintings will be on display to the public as well as drawings, clothing and garments, jewellery and armnour from the time.
Due to the popularity the gallery we advise you visit in the afternoons when it is less bus. Note: Pass holders must obtain a gallery ticket from the ticket desk.
There are many places worth visiting in a short walking distance from Queens Gallery; for example: The Royal Mews, The Guards Museum and The Churchill War Rooms. With The London Pass you have a chance to visit all these places for free.

"My wife and I have been to London twice before but our adult children were with us this time and we decided to get the London Pass with the transportation option. It was fantastic. We visited many wonderful sites with which we were already familiar, but we also went to many places just because we had the London Pass - the Royal Mews, Wimbledon, Handel's Home, and more. These unexpected visits were so enjoyable!"
