London Public Transport Network is one of the biggest in the world and might seem little intimidating to new visitors. With access to Buses, Trams, Over-ground Trains and the famous London Underground or ‘tube’ a day’s travel round London can also be very expensive.

A Travel card is available with every London Pass and costs no more than £7.00 per day in addition to your London Pass, and with the 6 day London Pass with Travel you get the 7th day of travel for Free.

The London Travel card is an option created for visitors to ease their travel experience and save their money. The benefits of a Travel card are:

• Unlimited journeys on all London Underground, Buses, Trams, Docklands Light Rail and Over-ground Trains within zones 1 – 6

London Travel card validity

The following validity rules also apply:

• 1 day Travel cards (off-peak) can be used from 9.30am Mondays to Fridays, all day Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, on each day of validity and for any journey that starts before 4.30am on the day following the expiry date.
• 2 and 3 day Travel cards (off-peak) have the same rules as 1 day Travel card and can only be used on consecutive days.
• 6 day Travel cards can be used at any time during the period of validity and for any journey that starts before 4.30am on the day following the expiry date. Plus, when you buy a 6 day-London Pass with travel you get a 7th day of additional London travel, FREE!
• Children under 11 years of age may travel free of charge on the tube, buses, DLR and London Overground if accompanied by an adult holding a valid travelcard.

Please note:

Delivered Visitor Travel Cards are date stamped on issue. Please ensure you have selected the correct start date for your London Pass as your Travel Card will have the same start date. If you are collecting in London your Travel Card will be date stamped on issue.

Access to Airports

The only airports accessible with your Travel card are Heathrow and London City Airport. If you are flying into one of these airports and have had your Travel card delivered to you at home, you will be able to use it on the public transport services shown above, to get into the city centre. As the following airports are outside of Zone 6, you will be required to pay some or all of your journey into central London, depending on which service you use:

• Gatwick Airport
• Stansted Airport
• Luton Airport

Please note:

London Pass with Travel is not valid for any express airport trains, such us the Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express, Stansted Express, or National Express trains.
