Chelsea Physic Garden

Take in the beautiful, relaxing surroundings of the Chelsea Physic Garden in the heart of Chelsea, London with free entrance (normally £7) if you use your London Pass.

Often cited as one of a few ‘secret’ London gardens, the Chelsea Physic Garden was founded in 1673 and is still committed to research into ‘the properties, origins and conservation of over 5000 species’.

The Chelsea Physic Garden offers many exclusive events and openings throughout the year. London visitors are advised to ring in advance to check the availability of these events, as most are seasonal.

Thanks to its central location, the gardens are ideal for visitors who want to escape the bustle of the city, enjoy a few moments respite during a busy London sightseeing day or simply relax among these secluded and meditative grounds.

You can experience first hand the beauty of this Chelsea garden at a time that suits you thanks to the new extended opening hours, with late opening on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Once again the London Pass offers you free entrance (normal price £12.25).

It is a short walk from many of the other famous attractions in London, but if gardening is your thing why not combine a visit to the Chelsea Physic Garden with a trip to Kew Gardens, arguably the most famous gardens in London?
