Experience Benjamin Franklin in London for free (normal price of an adult ticket is £9) – the historic residence of the Founding Father of America is just one of the many London attractions you can gain free entry to with the London Pass.
Located on Craven Street, just a short walk from Trafalgar Square, this historical building dates from circa 1730 and was the residence of Benjamin Franklin in London between 1757 and 1775, during which time this extraordinary man was involved with mediation between America and Britain as well as his groundbreaking scientific studies.
The house, which is now the site of a student science centre, is the only remaining residence of Benjamin Franklin and is widely recognised as being the leading centre for studies related to Franklin.
Visitors to the house can experience first hand what life was like for Benjamin Franklin in London in the 1700s through the ‘Historical Experience’, an attraction that lets you feel the atmosphere of the time and explore the complex and interesting life of one of the founding fathers of the United States Of America. You can also visit another London attraction, the Scholarship Centre, which houses a full set of Franklin’s papers.
Why not combine your visit to this beautiful and educational site with one of the many surrounding attractions? The London Pass also entitles you to offers in many of London’s restaurants and theatres. The Benjamin Franklin House is conveniently placed just a short walk from theatre land where London Pass holders can enjoy up to 50% off tickets for several West End shows
