Visit London attractions and see new Banksy artwork
Last Updated: Tue 22 Dec 2009

Look out for new work by street artist Banksy when out and about London sightseeing this Christmas.

The world's leaders' failure to come up with a legally binding climate change treaty in Copenhagen seems to have been the inspiration for British graffiti artist Banksy's latest work.

Large red capital letters on a wall along Regent's canal in Camden, north London, read: 'I don't believe in global warming', with half of the words submerged in the water.

Elsewhere in the city, the stenciller, whose work can sell for millions, has also painted a workman painting over a patch of graffiti with dull grey paint.

A further piece depicts a child fishing out a graffiti tag from the canal. It is not yet known how long these pieces will remain as local authorities have removed many of his previous works.

Those interested in London sightseeing might wish to take part in the London Legends Walking Tour, which visits the location of Jimi Hendrix's last gig, where the ill-fated Titanic passengers bought their tickets and many other places. Visitors might even catch sight of one of Banksy's new masterpieces while on the tour.
