UK sees increase in overseas visitorsThe UK remains a popular destination for overseas visitors, according to official figures.
Between February and April, the number of visits from overseas tourists increased by three per cent compared to the previous three months.
This means that 7.6 million people visited the country, spending a total of £4.1 billion - also marking a three per cent increase.
Elliott Frisby, spokesperson at VisitBritain, recently said that the UK's summer events will attract more visitors to the country.
He revealed that the summer sporting season is one of the main attractions, as are summer music festivals.
Anyone heading for London can make sure they see the most of the city with the London Pass.
It gives free entry to a number of top attractions, including St Paul's Cathedral, the Chelsea FC Stadium Tour and Kew Gardens, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year.
