Things to do in London: enjoy the city's "buzz"Visitors to London during the Olympic Games will take advantage of the city's "buzz" before and after the event, according to Visit London.
A report from Visit London has found that £11 billion will be invested into Olympic projects.
Sally Chatterjee, interim chief executive offices of Visit London, said: "From a visitor perspective, not everyone is focused on sporting events but many want to take advantage of the buzz around London as the host city."
Ms Chatterjee went on to say that "Londoners and visitors alike aren't aware of all the projects going on in the city over the next 1,000 days".
She added that visitor to the city are to benefit from the upgrade works around the tube network and changes in London shopping, eating, and London attractions.
One of the interesting events Ms Chatterjee outlined included the new St Martin's Courtyard development in Covent Garden, which will open next summer.
The development is close to many other interesting London attractions and other exciting things to do in London.
