Things to do in London: Watch the Great Christmas Pudding RaceThose visiting London attractions this weekend should take a break and watch the Great Christmas Pudding Race.
Now in its 29th year, the race is taking place in Covent Garden Market on Saturday morning (December 5th).
Teams clad in fancy dress will be taking part in the relay race, carrying a traditional Christmas pudding on a tray and weaving their way around the obstacle-filled course.
The event has been organised by CRAC, a career development organisation, on behalf of Cancer Research UK.
Last year's race raised £17,000 for Cancer Research UK and CRAC has set a target for this year of £25,000.
Covent Garden is located in Westminster and is less than a 20 minute walk from a London attraction that is enjoyed by adults and children alike: Pollocks Toy Museum.
The museum includes displays of board games, dolls, teddy bears and many more toys that inspire childhood nostalgia.
Included in one of the museum's exhibitions is a teddy bear called William, which is nearly 100 years old.
