Things to do in London: See Damien Hirst's latest exhibition
Last Updated: Wed 25 Nov 2009

After a cold morning of London sightseeing, visit the Wallace Collection and marvel at Damien Hirst's latest art exhibition titled No Love Lost, Blue Paintings.

Internationally renowned Hirst is most famous for his controversial artwork titled The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living - a 14ft tiger shark preserved in formaldehyde in a glass box.

This exhibition, however, showcases 25 new paintings by the artist, which, in his own words, are "deeply connected to the past".

This Friday (November 27th) there will be a lecture on the life and works so far of Hirst by art historian Tim Marlow.

Mr Marlow will speak to artist and Hirst's former Goldsmith's professor Michael Craig-Martin about the rise of British art over the past three decades and the creative impact Hirst has had on the art world and internationally.

The Wallace Collection is on Manchester Square, West London, and is close to a number of underground stations that link to many other top London attractions.
