Save on London attractions and visit a digital exhibition at the V&A Museum
Last Updated: Mon 7 Dec 2009

The Victoria and Albert museum launched its first digital exhibition today, which allows visitors to the London attraction the chance to interact with the colourful displays.

Decode: Digital Design Sensations includes the latest developments in digital and interactive design.

The exhibition is taking place primarily in the Porter Gallery but there are installations throughout the museum and its garden.

Three themes are explored in the exhibition: Code as a Raw Material, Interactivity and The Network.

These include a new piece created by Daniel Brown, in which he has used advanced mathematics to create moving images of plants. These grow continuously, producing new buds, flowers, stalks and leaves.

Visitors to the exhibition can also stare into a mechanical eye and watch as it mirrors their blinking.

The Victoria and Albert Museum is located in the south-west of England's capital city, a short walk from many other London attractions, such as the Royal Albert Hall.

Built in 1871 the hall is now used to stage music concerts, exhibitions, public meetings and award ceremonies.
