Queen to receive horse from Royal Canadian Mounted Police

The Queen will be receiving a new Police Service Horse during the finale of the Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo.

It will be presented by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and is believed to be called George, named after the Queen's grandfather King George V.

He will be the fourth horse from the RCMP to join the Royal Mews since 1969 and marks the 75th anniversary of the RCMP Long Service Medal.

The event is set to take place between May 13th and 16th and features the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force.

With the London Pass, people can visit the Royal Mews for no extra charge, saving £7.50 per child and £4.80 per child.

In addition to this, Windsor Castle is also free of charge, with the London Pass saving £15.50 on an adult's ticket and £9 on a child's.ADNFCR-1693-ID-19161790-ADNFCR
