Opera and ballet season at the Curzon Mayfair

With proms season in full swing, London in late summer is pulsing with culture - and Curzon cinemas are in on the act.
In August, the specialist picture house company will be running its opera and ballet summer season, bringing some of the world's most famous performances to the big screen.
For a break away from the bustling London attractions, visitors to the Curzon Mayfair can immerse themselves in afternoon performances of Sleeping Beauty, Madame Butterfly, Romeo and Juliet and Carmen.
The same programme will be running concurrently at the Chelsea Cinema, with a showing at 15.30 every Sunday from August 3rd to 24th.
Performances being shown include those by groups as prestigious as the Royal Ballet and the San Francisco Opera.
Other films currently showing at the theatres include Mamma Mia! at the Chelsea Cinema and Before the Rains at the Curzon Mayfair.Visit London and take a trip to the cinema.
