London offers value for money, says expertEuropean travellers are finding London to be a value for money destination, it has been suggested.
According to Tracy Halliwell, director of business tourism at Visit London, this has not always been the case, but the capital's popularity has been helped out by a favourable exchange rate.
Business customers are heading to London as they do not want to foot the bill for sending employees to lavish locations, Ms Halliwell suggested, which is why London is a favourable option.
A recent Barclays survey found that 75 per cent of business travellers stated that they expect to travel more or the same amount in 2009 compared to 2008.
Furthermore, 85 per cent believe that face-to-face business meetings are more effective than using technologies.
Anyone travelling to London on business can make the most of their trip with the London Pass as it gives free entry to over 55 top attractions throughout the city.
