Literary occasion for beautiful London building

The author of an intriguing new book will be signing copies at a top London visitor attraction on November 30th.
From 11:00 to 16:00 John Priestley will be meeting members of the public and inscribing copies of his new tome, entitled Eltham Palace, at the historic property of the same name.
This beautiful hardback publication offers a fascinating insight into the relationship between the building, its inhabitants and the local community down the years.
The building is located in London's Greenwich district – to the south east of the city centre – and is easily accessibly by road and public transport.
Eltham Palace's current incarnation was built by a wealthy couple, Stephen and Virginia Courtauld, in 1936 on the site of the original construction.
It features a range of beautiful decors, not least the pair's favoured art deco style and elements of a luxurious nautical character.
