Frost/Nixon/Q&A at the Curzon MayfairA bastion of the British cinema industry is to hold a special event to mark the release of one of the most hotly-anticipated films of 2009.
Frost/Nixon/Q&A at the Curzon Mayfair will present a screening of Ron Howard's adaptation of the Tony-winning play and a special question-and-answer session with screenwriter Peter Morgan with Michael Sheen, who plays interviewer David Frost, also hoped to make an appearance.
The film is based on the true story of the interview between disgraced former US President Richard Nixon and British journalist David Frost in 1977, which sees the attempts of the former to preserve his legacy and the other to build his international reputation clash in the most dramatic fashion.
As the tension mounts and Frost probes the still-open wound of the Watergate Scandal which had led to Nixon's resignation only three years before, the film is gripping and utterly immersive in its portrayal of this epic battle of wits.
LondonPass holders can gain free general admission to all performances at the Curzon Mayfair on Monday to Thursday (except bank holidays) at any time and from Friday to Sunday (plus bank holidays) for all performances starting before 17.00.
