'Dig for Victory' in London
Last Updated: Thu 28 Aug 2008

Visitors to London can turn back the clock and experience life in wartime Britain at the Dig for Victory event organised by the Churchill Museum.

Those visiting the attraction on September 27th and September 28th, will be able to see firsthand how the government dealt with wartime food shortages and take part in a host of harvest arts and craft activities, as part of the Dig for Victory: War on Waste Harvest Fair.

London Pass visitors will be treated to talks from Home Front Friends and World War II historians, as well as having the opportunity to see how wartime food was prepared.

The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms is one of London's top attractions and offers visitors a real insight into the former prime minister and the work he carried out during the war.

Visitors to the attraction can see Churchill's map room – preserved almost exactly how he left it – along with his bedroom and transatlantic telephone room.

Visitors to the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms can gain entry to the venue using their London Pass. ADNFCR-1693-ID-18753489-ADNFCR
