Attend Knight School as you save on London attractions
Last Updated: Tue 9 Feb 2010

Any budding knights out there have the chance to play out their wildest dreams at one of the best loved London attractions.

The Tower of London regularly stages special events and this month is no exception, with Knight School set to take place in the Medieval Palace from 13th until 21st February.

King Edward I is on the lookout for brave squires who are ready to work as knights in his distant wars, so the question is: have you got what it takes to join the medieval army?

The Tower of London says of the event: "Remember there is more to the job than just skill at arms. Only the best will be knighted by the king himself."

Budding knights can hear the clink of armour and learn about the art of swordplay from 11:30 until 15:30 on each day of Knight School.

The history of the Tower of London dates back to the early 1080s, when William the Conqueror began to build a massive stone tower at his London fortress, with successive monarchs adding to the fortifications in the centuries that followed.
